Lightwear Paper for use on white or light-coloured fabric:
Lightwear paper is a hot or cold-peel premium commercial grade paper made for the transfer of digital image reproductions onto cotton and cotton
blends of fabric, which are WHITE or LIGHT in colour, such as t-shirts, aprons, caps, cotton tops, mouse mats, hoodies, table cloths, napkins, pet shirts,
boxer shorts, bags etc.
Making the transfer: Lightwear papers are formulated to produce superior results using regular ink jet ink. Simply place your A4 sheet of Lightwear
Paper into your inkjet printer paper tray, and print your full colour image from your computer (of course you should test-print your image on plain paper
first). All Epson printers/inks usually hold colour well, but regular HP and Cannon prints can fade in the wash. Special heat-transfer or photographic ink
cartridges are available for many printers. Enquire at your local office supply store.
Applying the transfer: This paper can be used successfully with a regular household iron. An Elnapress or other ironing press is even better (you could
ask your dry cleaner to help).
Gloss or matt: If the paper is removed when hot it will produce a matt finish. If the paper is let to cool 1 to 2 minutes it will produce a semi-gloss finish.
Some customers use Darkwear Paper on white fabric to achieve specific design appearances.
Care and durability: Washability has been tested for colour retention to be the best available and the finish will be a soft to medium hand. Printing,
pressing, washing and care instructions are packaged with each pack of paper.
Pro tip: For a professional-looking result, cut neatly around the edges of your image or design shape with a pair of scissors or scalpel blade. Leave a
small margin around the edge of printed areas to avoid any possibility of ink bleeding onto the fabric (this margin will be invisible on white t-shirts).

Darkwear Paper for use on black or dark-coloured fabric:
Darkwear paper is an opaque commercial grade paper made for the transfer digital image reproductions onto cotton and cotton blends of fabric,
which are BLACK or DARK in colour, such as t-shirts, aprons, caps, cotton tops, mouse mats, hoodies, table cloths, napkins, pet shirts, boxer shorts,
canvas bags, leather, denim jackets, etc.
Making the transfer: Darkwear papers are formulated with superior opacity using normal ink jet ink. Simply place your A4 sheet of Darkwear Paper
into your inkjet printer paper tray, and print your full colour image from your computer (of course you should test-print your image on plain paper first).
Epson printers/inks tend to hold colour well, but regular HP and Cannon prints fade in the wash. Special heat-transfer or photographic ink cartridges are

heating cycle. The parchment keeps the ink away from the press surface and assures the proper matt finish. The paper and cover sheets can be used

Care and durability: Washability has been tested for opacity to be the best available and the finish will be a medium hand that will soften after
washing. Printing, pressing, washing and care instructions are included with each pack of paper.
